This demo uses a fictional community-services organization. The original portal was built for a school, but its architecture is not school-specific. A live system follows your departments, teams, groups, categories, terminology, access rules, reporting periods, and branding.
Businesses, nonprofits, churches, ministries, schools, associations, foundations, clinics, service companies, and volunteer or membership organizations can organize the same resource types around their own work.
One Place for Staff Resources
The dashboard highlights Latest Resources. Browse categories, search titles and keywords, or select a Resource Year. Documents, uploaded videos, embedded training, external resources, and related links share the same resource library.
- Policies & Procedures: your organization’s policies and operating standards.
- Staff Forms: HR, operational, finance, program, or department forms.
- Training & Development: onboarding, professional development, volunteer orientation, compliance, or safety training.
- Groups: departments, teams, ministries, programs, locations, leadership groups, or job roles.
- Resource Year: this example uses July–June periods. A live implementation can use calendar, fiscal, school, program, or other relevant years.
- External Resources: benefits providers, software systems, reference sites, or vendor portals.
Staff and Administrator Views
Staff Member: published resources shared with all users or one of the staff member’s groups. Explore As and Staff team are demo-only controls. Switching teams shows how the same portal presents different permitted resources.
Document Admin: resources, categories, users, and groups. Read-only management forms show resource type, publication status, year, file details, related links, and group visibility.
Super Admin: the same management areas plus protected role controls and Cleanup Tools. Cleanup shows the scope of removing an old resource year; no deletion can execute in this demo.
Secure Files and Permissions
Search, Latest Resources, and category counts reflect the selected staff member’s permissions. Each download verifies the current authenticated identity and the resource’s visibility. Copying an administrator’s download link does not grant a staff member access.
Files are delivered through a same-host authenticated endpoint. Private sessions use signed cookies and expire after inactivity. The demo does not use WordPress user accounts, expose raw file paths, or collect personal information.
Training and Related Resources
Uploaded examples play in a video player. Embedded examples demonstrate hosted training within the resource page. Both use lightweight, self-contained fictional clips. External links open fictional provider/reference pages; no real provider account is required. Related links can be opened or copied.
Using This Demo
Log in with demo / catalyst demo. Browse, search, filter, inspect management forms, and download permitted sample documents. Uploads, account changes, publishing, user/group changes, and cleanup are blocked server-side. Download counts are fictional and do not record other visitors’ activity.
Resource years and recent editions advance automatically when the demo is visited. Existing records are not reset, and no cron job is required. Dates use the WordPress-configured timezone. Log Out clears your private session.
