Here are some of the most common questions clients ask before starting their website project—whether they’re a growing business or a mission-driven nonprofit.
Why should I choose you?
I’m not just a designer—I’m a strategic partner who has led and grown organizations. I build clean, modern websites that show what you do best, attract the right customers, and are optimized to rank on Google. Small businesses get affordable pricing, and I offer ongoing care to keep your site fast, secure, and performing like it should.
How long does it take to build a website?
Timelines depend on scope, but most projects move quickly and predictably. A streamlined one-page site is often completed in about one week. Most multi-page projects land in the 1–3 week range. Larger custom builds (with more pages, integrations, or complex features) can take longer—I'll give you a clear timeline up front and keep you updated throughout.
Do you work with nonprofits?
Yes. I love partnering with nonprofits, schools, and community-based organizations whose missions make a real difference. I offer meaningful nonprofit discounts and, in some cases, no-cost builds when paired with hosting & maintenance—so you can stretch your budget further and reach more people online.
What’s the risk of using a cheap website service?
Many low-cost services use cookie-cutter templates and neglect performance, mobile optimization, and real SEO—so your site may not rank or convert. What looks inexpensive up front can cost more in lost visibility and missed opportunities.
What does a website cost?
Website design packages start at $999 for a streamlined one-page site. Most businesses invest
$1,999+ for a growth-focused website built to guide visitors, capture leads, and support long-term results.
Nonprofits may qualify for steep discounts, and advanced projects with unique functionality or integrations are quoted based on what you actually need.
What type of clients do you work with?
I serve a wide range of small businesses and nonprofits nationwide—service providers, trades, contractors, consultants, restaurants, retail, professional practices, schools, churches, and community organizations. Startups and established organizations are both welcome.
Are there any projects you don’t take on?
I take a personalized approach and limit active projects so each one receives full attention. I’m a great fit for clients who value strategy and quality. I also partner with organizations whose missions align with my values and will always be transparent if a project isn’t the right fit.
Where are you located, and do you serve my area?
I’m based in Brevard County on Florida’s Space Coast and work with clients anywhere in the U.S. I personally design, build, and deploy every site—I don’t outsource to third parties.
Will you write the website copy for me?
Yes—copy support is included in every package. I’ll help you clarify your message, organize your pages, and polish your wording so it feels authentic, supports SEO, and leads visitors to take action. If you need heavier lift copywriting (writing everything from scratch, longer pages, or deeper brand messaging), I can quote that as part of the project.
Will my website be optimized for search engines?
Definitely. Every site includes foundational SEO: clean code, fast load times, mobile-first responsive design, structured headings, and meta titles/descriptions. I also submit your site to Google Search Console for faster indexing.
If you choose a hosting & maintenance plan, I’ll continue optimizing—adding content, refining pages, and keeping things fresh so you can keep climbing in search.
Do you offer payment plans?
Yes. Most projects are 50% at agreement and 50% at launch. For larger builds, staged payments are available. Many businesses and nonprofits also qualify for a 12-month payment plan on website design when paired with a hosting & maintenance plan.
Can you update my existing website?
Often, yes. It depends on your platform and whether updates are minor or if a rebuild would be more efficient. I’m happy to review and give honest recommendations.
Will my website work on mobile devices?
Absolutely. Every site is fully responsive and optimized for mobile so it looks great and converts on phones, tablets, and desktops. I personally fine-tune each page for the best mobile experience.
Do you provide ongoing support and updates?
Yes. Hosting & maintenance plans start at $99/month and include secure cloud hosting, backups, security monitoring, and technical support to keep your site stable and protected. Plans with monthly hands-on update time are available on higher tiers when you want reserved time each month for content updates and ongoing improvements.
Do I own my website once it’s built?
Absolutely. After launch and final payment, you own your site—even if you don’t use my hosting or maintenance. If you ever decide to move, I’ll provide files, credentials, and instructions at no extra charge.
Can you help with logo design and branding?
Yes. I offer logo design and visual identity work so your brand looks professional and consistent across every touchpoint.
What platforms do you build on?
Primarily WordPress—for maximum flexibility, ownership, and SEO control for both small businesses and nonprofits. For e-commerce, I also use WooCommerce or Shopify when appropriate.
I’m not sure what I need—can you help?
Definitely. I offer a free 20-minute discovery call to learn about your goals and recommend a roadmap that makes sense for you.
How will my website help me get more customers or supporters?
Each site is built to perform—optimized for mobile, search, speed, and conversion. That means clearer messaging, simpler next steps, and a user experience that turns visitors into customers, clients, donors, or volunteers.
