Catalyst Work Order Demo — System Guide

A connected maintenance workflow for businesses, churches, schools, nonprofits, property managers and community organizations. Capture requests, organize the open queue and review completed work.

What to try

Submit a fictional request, attach a bundled illustration, prioritize the queue and complete a request. Every change is stored in your own temporary workspace and reflected in reports.

Suggested walkthrough

  1. Open Administration and sign in: username demo, password catalyst demo.
  2. Review the open work orders.
  3. Expand a request to inspect its submitter, description, dates and image.
  4. Drag a request or use Move Up / Down. Queue position expresses priority; there are no formal priority levels.
  5. Mark a request complete.
  6. Open Completed and inspect its completion date. Restore to Open returns it to the bottom of the queue and clears its completion date.
  7. Use Submit Work Order to add your own fictional example.
  8. Return to Administration to find it in the open queue.
  9. Run a date-range report and inspect Notification Previews.
  10. Choose Restore Sample Data to reset only your workspace.

User roles

Primary Super Admin and Admin manage requests and users in a production installation. Maintenance can reorder, complete and restore requests. View Only can inspect requests and reports. This demo previews those roles; account changes, passwords and permanent deletion are unavailable server-side for every visitor.

Notifications

A production installation notifies the maintenance team when a request arrives, confirms receipt to its submitter and notifies the submitter when it is complete. This demo renders those messages as previews only. It sends no email and accepts no file uploads.

Reports & dates

Reports count requests opened and completed within the selected dates, plus currently open and completed totals. Restored requests no longer count as completed. All dates use the WordPress site's timezone. New and reset workspaces receive sample activity relative to today's date.

Your private demonstration

All sample people, locations and work orders are fictional. Use fictional names and reserved example-domain email addresses. The submission form works before login in the same private workspace. A separate browser or private browsing session gets its own data. Refreshing preserves your changes. Your workspace expires 12 hours after creation; logging in or restoring samples does not extend that deadline. Expired records are removed by scheduled and request-time cleanup.

This is a working sample configuration. A commissioned system can be tailored to your branding, request fields, workflow, reporting needs, notifications and employee permissions. Those are customization possibilities, not additional features claimed by this demonstration.
